The Institute continues a lengthy tradition of human factors research and industry close ties at Ohio Condition, with a focus on an interdisciplinary method of system design. To do this, the Institute draws upon the extensive experience with faculty, staff, and students from a number of disciplines, including industrial and systems engineering, computer and knowledge science, communication, industrial design, psychology, statistics, education, physiology, biomedical engineering, public health, and medicine.
